Acre square footage of 43,560 square feet comes from a magic square. By formula, the tiniest of magic squares holds the acre. Why? Using balance helps to create an ideal civilization as once existed. Remnants remain of what once was: An harmonious civilization based on balance. By formula, the tiniest of magic squares reveals the acre. Legends abound about lost or destroyed civilizations. Most will look but cannot see or understand the complexity presented here.
First, here’s the formula. Then I’ll explain how I arrived at the factors from the tiny magic square: 660 x 660/10 = 43,560.
660 comes in two different ways on this magic square, vertically and horizontally. This number appears as follows. (1) Horizontally: add these numbers two at the time from 49 + 25 + 81 = 165. Then add the numbers in reverse as 94 + 52 + 18 = 165. Horizontal totals in this manner are 330.
Vertically perform the same operation: 43 + 95 + 27 = 165. Then 34 + 59 + 72 = 165. Their total becomes 330. Perform the same operation from the bottom up and then reverse that: 83 + 15 + 67 = 165. Reversed 38 + 51 + 76 = 165. Vertical totals become 330.
The number 660 offers the number of feet in a furlong often used to describe a land based measure. It was the numbers that were of import. Ancients attached their own units of measure to these numbers.
