Sacred Number

Many are the books written about the mechanics or measurements used in sacred engineering which is the source of sacred number However, not many many cover the subject of the thought, philosophy or metaphysical reasoning that goes into sacred engineering? Many of my books including ,”The Sacred Engineers’ Philosophy- the Pinnacle Thought in the Unified Culture of Ancient Builders”, grapples with this theme and pins it squarely on the shoulders of magic squares.

Sacred number is also discussed here. John Michell has written extensively about sacred numbers and measurement; but I think he has not attributed them to magic squares.

Where my book has a novel approach is that it tackles the unwritten application of magic squares (a.k.a. number squares). My first formal go at at instruction on magic squares was some 40 years ago at the Selby Public Library in Sarasota, Florida under the name, The Society for Ancient Studies. These talks always drew a fairly large crowd that typically included a number of engineers. People either loved my approach or were irate and vehement in their denial of what I was talking about. Some in the audience were simply upset that I took a novel approach to sacred number coming from magic squares as a point of reference in the engineering realm of antiquity. The thrust of magic squares in sacred engineering is to bring about balance; and apply it to understanding the cosmos. Many misunderstood the concept of a number square, thinking is what it was simply an individual number multiplyed by itself like 13 x 13 = 169 etc. Number squares use balance not only with numbers but also positive and negative forces that come from their struts. This requires a larger scope of thought.

My book takes the form of a dialogue a philosopher and others who are seeking answers to the unexplained past. They also throw up as many objections as they can to the philosopher who keeps on trying to explain this seemingly unknown point of view.
