Hebrew Megalithic Yard

Hebrew Megalithic Yard – To work with fractions it’s necessary to find their common denominator. What is Common Denominator? A fraction has two parts – a numerator and a denominator. Any arithmetic operation such as addition or subtraction involving two or more fractions is possible if the denominators of both fractions are the same. You have to know which number is divisible by the two numbers. The Megalithic yard is well define by John Michell in his View Over Atlantis.

To understand the Hebrew Megalithic Yard, Letters once doubled as numbers. The root letters of “Hebrew” ( ayin-v-r) means to pass, cross, traverse, undergo.” These three letters double with the following numerical equivalents: Ayin is 70, “v“, or veis (beis) is 2 and reisch (“r”) is 200; so, 70 + 2 + 200 + 272. Abraham is called “the Hebrew” (ha-‘ivri) because he came from “across the river” (Euphrates).

The word Hebrew and the megalithic yard both use 272, when defined by feet: 1 megalithic yard = 2.72 feet. Likewise, the 3 letter root for “Hebrew” equals 272 for at one time the megalithic yard and foot were equated by number were equated. Relevance comes from Plato who called 272 the great number of harmony. Today an harmonious co-existence is what we are all looking for. Magic square centers

Furthermore 272 appears again by pyramiding the letters of the two primary names of God and adding them together as I did in this internal link: Pyramiding the two Primary Names of the Deity, Yahweh and Elohim = 272. Also 272 appears in math as a fraction the when worked out uses the 272 in repetition to infinity. Those numbers are 30/11 = 2.727272727….This might seem insignificant but thirty is five times six while eleven is five plus six. In his writings, John Michell explains how 6 is a number of yang while five is a number of yin and how so many cultures brought these tow together through the geometry of the pentagon, a five sided figure and the form of the hexagon with its six sides.
